Victoria Vitale

Video Editor

My role at Prana Wealth is to edit videos for Patrick’s YouTube channel, @HowToRetire. I am responsible for assembling the footage, organizing the structure and pacing of each video, and incorporating visual graphics that help communicate ideas clearly and keep the content engaging for viewers. My goal is to shape the raw material into a cohesive story that is both informative and easy to follow.

I genuinely enjoy working on these videos. Patrick has a very thoughtful and balanced perspective on retirement, one that considers not only the financial side but also the mental and lifestyle aspects. His approach focuses on helping retirees feel secure about their finances while also encouraging them to make the most of their newly gained time and freedom. Being able to contribute to content that supports people in this stage of life is something I find very rewarding.

Originally, I am from Argentina, where I studied Filmmaking while working at a video production company as a Junior Video Editor. In that role, I primarily worked on advertising content, developing skills in editing, pacing, motion graphics, color correction, and delivering polished visual narratives for commercial projects.

I later graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Filmmaking. Towards the end of my degree, I directed and edited a documentary about a foundation located in a low-income neighbourhood. The organization provides workshops and employment opportunities in trades for members of the local community. This documentary remains the project I am most proud of as an editor. My intention was to highlight a space where social status was set aside, something particularly meaningful in Argentina, where social inequality has long been a significant issue. Through the film, I wanted to show the value of simply being present, helping others, and connecting with people whose realities may be very different from our own.

After graduating, I managed to work from abroad as a Freelance Video Editor, getting to see lots of new countries and cultures. During that time, I also completed a course in Digital Design, further expanding my creative skill set.

While overseas, I met my partner Ben, and we later lived together in Argentina for another year and a half before eventually moving to New Zealand, his hometown. We are now settled here, and I continue to work as a Video Editor while pursuing creative projects. We still love to travel whenever we can, and outside of work I spend a lot of time with friends and family. Cooking is another passion of mine and something I truly enjoy as part of my daily life.
